The recipe of the Stomatico liqueur can be traced back to the 18th century. The ancient recipe is still used today to produce this liqueur. It calls for specially selected herbs and spices of the highest quality, including the precious saffron (Crocus sativus), know by both the ancient Greeks and Romans for its aromatic and pigmenting properties. The Elisir Stomatico’s bitter sweet flavor makes it an ideal aperitif to serve straight or with ice.
