This liqueur comes from an ancient Italian tradition. The warm flavor of Amarelli licorice root from the Italian region of Calabria is combined with the fresh flavor of costmary, or the Santa Maria Herb, which has been used since 1612 by the Officina in its Santa Maria Novella Water and lozenges. Serve cold in the summer. Excellent in coffee.
